EcoSip was founded after reports of carcinogens in Australian tap water became a national news story in March 2024. While we have known for a long time that microplastics are harmful to our body and that bottled water is very harmful to the environment, we didn't think it was right that the tap water in our homes could put us at risk of cancer and illness.
